What this site is
Cardiac Cadence, at cardiaccadence.com, is an educational site for learning cardiac rhythm interpretation, operated by Mark K. Copeland, RCS, CRAT. Using the site means you accept these terms.
This site teaches rhythm interpretation. It does not provide medical advice, it does not replace formal clinical training or supervised practice, and nothing here should be used to make decisions about a real patient. Every strip on this site is software-generated for teaching. Clinical decisions belong to qualified healthcare professionals working within their scope of practice.
This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Passing any quiz here does not guarantee passing the CRAT exam. Always confirm exam requirements against the current CCI candidate handbook.
Accounts
You need an account to reach the subscriber material. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for what happens under your account. Accounts are for one person - sharing login details so multiple people can use one subscription is not permitted.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
What is free
Chapters 1 and 2, the glossary, the CRAT Exam Guide, the CRAT Sampler quiz, the Chapter 2 measurement drill, and the Chapter 4 sinus sampler are free to use without a subscription. No card is required to read them.
Subscriptions, pricing, and free trials
- Monthly - $19.99 per month, with a 14-day free trial.
- Annual - $179.99 per year, with a 30-day free trial.
Prices are in US dollars. Free trials require no card to begin. When a trial ends, the subscription continues at the price above unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period - monthly or annually, matching the plan you chose - until you cancel. Each recurring charge is made with your consent, given when you subscribe.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from your account page. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.
When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops. You keep access for that remaining time. Cancelling during a free trial ends the trial and you are not charged.
Refunds
The free trial exists so you can decide before paying anything - 14 days on monthly, 30 days on annual, no card needed. Because of that, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun.
That said, if something has gone genuinely wrong - a duplicate charge, a billing error, or a charge you did not expect - get in touch through the contact page and it will be sorted out fairly.
Price changes
If subscription prices change, existing subscribers will be told before the new price applies to them, with enough notice to cancel first if they prefer.
What you may and may not do
Your subscription is a personal licence to use this material for your own learning. You may not:
- Copy, republish, or redistribute the chapters, questions, rhythm strips, or figures.
- Share your account so others can avoid subscribing.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract the content.
- Resell the material or use it to build a competing product.
- Use it for commercial training without written permission.
All content on this site - the written chapters, the question banks, the rhythm rendering engine, the Rhythm City framework, and the figures - is the original work of Mark K. Copeland and is protected by copyright.
Availability
This site is provided as it is. Reasonable effort goes into keeping it accurate and available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed, and content may be corrected, added to, or reorganised over time. If a correction changes something clinically meaningful, that is an improvement, not a breach of these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability arising from your use of this site is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. This site is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including exam outcomes or employment decisions.
Ending access
Accounts that share logins, scrape content, or redistribute the material may be suspended or closed. If that happens without cause, any unused portion of a prepaid subscription will be refunded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the date at the top of this page will change. Changes that materially affect subscribers will be communicated before taking effect.
